November 2007:
Over the 18 years I have been Mr. Traffic, I have been asked to endorse many products and try many programs, and only rarely do I lend my name to a product. But with oil hitting historical highs, and gas WILL be going UP UP UP......the people from CA40g sent me a bottle of their gas additive which makes many claims on increasing mileage and engine efficiency.

This is the quart bottle that I have been testing in my car for the past two months. I have been adding an OUNCE to a 15 gallon tank of gas.  I have made sure that under this test, that I did NOT change my driving habits.....but that's not a problem....because I never do anyway. I do the speed limit always, always, always! (Mr. Traffic gets a ticket....FILM AT 11.....I DON'T THINK SO!!)

Well......I am amazed to report that THIS STUFF ACTUALLY WORKS!!  Normally, I would get anywhere from 190-250 miles per tank (depending on city or highway primary driving).....and since I've been using the CA40g.......I am getting at least 10-20% better mileage per tank.  I can't tell you more specifically because of the variance of my driving schedule from week to week....but....there was no question that the needle on the gas gauge is going down much slower than it ever has. And the other good news is, that it costs about $.30 per tank to even use this this stuff, so it is with great pleasure that I tell you that you would be nuts NOT to use it.  There is a catch (I knew you were waiting for one...).....you have to have a measuring  cup to use this, so the act of getting out the bottle, shaking it, pouring it, cleaning the cup, etc. is not the most convenient operation ever. But look....for the cost savings....TOTALLY worth it. (I have suggested to the CA40g people to look into bottles with reservoir ability....would make it way more marketable).  You can read all about how this Calcium based product changes the molecular chemistry of gas, on their site to know how and why the product works.

Remember.......DOING THE SPEED LIMIT is the easiest way to reduce your gas consumption, but the pain at the pump is gonna continue to hurt even worse this winter!!!
