DO YOU KEEP YOUR CAR REGISTRATION IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT??
WRONG!!

Do you keep your registration in the GLOVE COMPARTMENT, or on the visor,
a pocket in the door or in your console?
If the answer to that is YES, then you do NOT keep it in the right place!!!
There is NO reason to keep it in the car and MANY reasons why not to. Confused?
Ya say "The law says I HAVE to keep it with the vehicle!" Well....it does
NOT. It only says that you must SHOW your registration when asked by a
peace officer. Where should you keep it? IN YOUR WALLET....NOT IN YOUR
CAR!!!!! If you have multiple users of the vehicle, then make copies and
distribute them to the users. You want NOTHING in your car that indicates
your home address. If you should get your car broken into, you will have
also set yourself up for a home robbery (especially if you are SILLY enough
to keep a spare key to the house and garage door opener in the car with
your registration). This is SO common, you wouldn't believe it. Also, if
your car is stolen you will not only be setting yourself up to be robbed
at home, but you have also provided the scum who stole your car, the means
to get away should he be pulled over by the cops when getting away with
your car. Car thieves break traffic laws while driving away with stolen
cars. If they know they're being pulled over for a traffic stop (because
they know you haven't discovered your car is stolen yet, they will show
their drivers license, YOUR registration, and then get away!!
You think this is too much to do.......then I say, WHATEVER!!!
Also,
you should NEVER keep the keys to your car on the same car ring with
your house keys. This is another setup for home robbery (especially if
you're too lazy to take the registration outta the car).
